There is a town called Wazuka at the end of the pass from the southeast of Uji City. This is an important tea producing area and accounts for about 40% of Uji tea production. There are tea fields as far as the eye can see, and it is a beautiful town called Teatopia. There is no parking lot at the tea fields viewing spot that I am going to introduce now, and the road is steep and narrow, so you cannot go there by car (Only Ishidera can go to the observatory by car.).
